Henrikh Mkhitaryan is a doubt for the Manchester derby after the Armenian FA confirmed the midfielder had suffered thigh damage which could take around ten days to heal.

Mkhitaryan picked up the knock in an off-the-ball collision with Marek Suchy during the first 1/2 of Armenia’s friendly with the Czech Republic on Wednesday and was taken off.

A declaration released by using the Armenian FA study: “As mentioned, senior country-wide group captain Henrikh Mkhitaryan obtained damage towards the Czech Republic and as a result was unable to preserve the fit.

“Mkhitaryan has had a clinical examination in a health center in Mlada Boleslav. Lamentably, the results are not encouraging.
Mkhitaryan was observed to have damage within the decrease of 0.33 of the left thigh muscle. Such accidents generally require a week to ten days to heal, meaning that Mkhitaryan will pass over the Denmark-Armenia in shape on September 4.”

The former Borussia Dortmund playmaker will return to Manchester on Saturday to be assessed by United’s clinical workforce at Carrington.

He tweeted: “My expensive lovers, I recognize much you fear about me; thank you! I’m again in Manchester for treatment and desire to be suited very soon!”
